Crisp leads, jagged basslines, and craggy guitars are a few of the main calling cards of straight edge guitarist, vocalist, and producer Trent Waddell. A constant innovator in terms of sound, Trent is always reinventing his own methods and processes, in order to constantly approach his work through fresh perspectives and constantly higher energy. DARKMANE simply is a lens for his straight edge fueled artistic ethos. Based in Steven's Point, Wisconsin, Trent also is the architect behind the ever-evolving alternative metal band, The House of Bones, who bridged the gaps between shoegaze, metal, hardcore, and new-school emo. Where other bands may shy away from unconventional song structures, unusual effects (distorted reverse reverb being one of the standouts), and a wide variety of guitar tunings (ranging from 6 string guitar E standard, to drop F on a 7 string guitar), The House of Bones leans into these unique factors. All three members bring a unique perspective and mentality to the music, with there being only one constant in the music: Evolution.
