With Belgian and Congolese roots, singer-songwriter Anna Winkin was born and raised in Belgium. Her diverse cultural background greatly influences her music and identity. Anna discovered her passion for creating her own music while studying Popular music performance at BIMM in London and Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, embarking on a journey of self-discovery and creative expression. Drawing inspiration from nature, personal experiences, and her rich heritage, Anna blends African and classical elements with R&B and Soul to craft a deeply emotional and introspective sound. Through her candid lyrics, she provides listeners with a channel to explore their emotions, release pent-up feelings, and connect with their innermost selves. With her ethereal soundscapes, mesmerising vocals, and poignant harmonies, Anna Winkin's music serves as a catalyst for personal growth and emotional resonance. Since her debut in 2017 with 'Space for Love', she has released a few singles including 'Self-Love' (February 2022) and 'Levelling Up' (January 2023). Currently, Anna is working on her upcoming music project in French, which is set to be unveiled in 2024, offering listeners a chance to experience her evocative storytelling and heartfelt melodies.
