Melodic Impact is a new and ambitious Hardstyle project, started in 2021 by the artistic composer, DJ & producer Peter J Taatgen from the Netherlands. He is not a newcomer in electronic music, as he already discovered DJing & producing in 1997 and reached great success a few years later. At his peak in 2006, as the Industrial Hardcore / Frenchcore artist 'Dj Obscurity', he performed at the biggest indoor events & festivals like Thunderdome, Dominator, Decibel, Mysteryland, Nature One, etc... He has also released tracks on well-known labels and his tracks received DJ support from established artists such as Angerfist, Negative A, Dr. Peacock and many more. To this day his music is still played by many hardcore fans. Unfortunately, in 2012 his big brother (also his coach and best friend) passed away. After that, his world collapsed and eventually changed his musical direction. After years of searching, learning and experimenting in many genres, he found his true passion in modern Hardstyle. In 2021 he started producing Hardstyle and 'Melodic Impact' was born. He is dedicated to creating more memorable tracks that fit perfectly on big stages around the world. No limits or boundaries, so expect more high-quality tracks in different moods besides his own personal favorite, the big epic tracks.
