John D. (born John Daniel Cummins) broke out as a southern rap producer in 2011, releasing songs with hip hop artists, Tech N9ne, $uicideboy$, Yelawolf, Paul Wall, Mr. Pookie, Mr. Lucci, Big Tuck, and Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J and DJ Paul. John's 2016 full length album, Bleeding on Them, further established him as an electronic music producer and artist, blending his melodic downbeat instrumentals with his featured gutter-rap vocal performances. He would release remix projects with renowned artists, Baauer and Basement Jaxx. In 2023 John is revisiting his roots producing and premiering Texas rapper, That Mexican OT, alongside his long-time friend and mentor in southern rap, Paul Wall.
