lanaire aderemi is a multi-hyphenate storyteller whose work spans from poetry, to theatre, to music. In 2018, she released ancient history (2018), a genre bending collaborative EP with rapper King Solomon which saw the pair fuse poetry and music together. She also founded story story pod — an immersive audio drama series on Nigerian history. 
 Through plays she’s written such as ‘protests, hymns and caskets’ based on the Egba Women’s revolt, she archives the experiences of others so that their memories can be honoured as their stories are told. She has performed readings of her work at the Tate, The National Gallery, the V & A & Warwick Arts Centre.
