Biography

Sebastian Kauderer is an award winner composer that has created the original soundtrack for many films, TV shows and documentaries working in productions from all over the world. As a pianist Kauderer has toured around the globe performing with many of the most prestigious musicians. Performance highlights include the London Philarmonia, LA Philharmonic, Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra and Argentina National Symphony Orchestra. Kauderer began his musical studies at 8 and since then he has developed his career as a piano performer and composer. Holding a degree from Escuela de Música Contemporánea he was awarded a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music where he earned a degree and the prestigious “Herb Pomeroy Award”. He has composed the original soundtrack for many films including Academy Award Winner “The Secret in Their Eyes” for Best Foreign Language Film, score that was awarded with several recognitions. Among his scores you can find “Border Run”, a thriller featuring Sharon Stone, the soundtrack for Disney´s Latin versions of “High School Musical”, “Black Dog, Red Dog” produced and directed by James Franco, the dark comedy “Dear Dictator”featuring Michael Caine & Katie Holmes and most recently “In This, Our Time” by Alex Dinelaris. He worked in several TV series including the acclaimed mini-series “Vientos de Agua”, directed by Juan Jose Campanella (House, Law & Order) that won multiple awards. Today he resides and continues to work in New York City.
