UpTopChoc: Coming from Elizabeth, NJ is a Haitian-American, young star on the grind. Holding a top-tier hierarchy in the rap industry, UpTopChoc compiles a sound that carries quick-witted, modish lyricism and bassy beats. From an early age being surrounded with music being the listener can not only sense the overflowing love he holds towards his culture, but also that “He's the man no doubt about it” by the hyped and compelling content that's carried in vigorous tracks. Choc says that music has always in some shape or form impacted his life (which can also be seen in his drawing and paintings). He started his musicianship by rapping for fun and then pursued it even further when he began interacting plethora of artists both local and upcoming. Just being around that type of environment filled with positive energy was just something that made Choc feel free and he came to the realization that the arts is a universal language and a creative expression in communicating a bigger message.
