The Bronx, New York is the mecca of Hip Hop music. Many artists become passionate about the art of music at a young age. Kiah NYC was born and raised in the Uptown area of the Bronx, Edenwald to be exact. Growing up he watched both his parents work hard to give him the best life and education possible. As a teen, he would sometimes write lyrics to beats to express himself. He often utilized music as an outlet to share his thoughts and feelings. His unique sound is described to be a mix of New York Hip Hop concentrated with bars and melodies. His brand is viewed as the missing link between the streets and the books. After gaining a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, this talented Bronx emcee knew he could use music to relate to his supporters and innovate the culture in a unique and positive way. His humble but cocky swag is respected and appreciated. Many can relate to Kiah’s story because his authenticity to stay true to himself has helped him make his distinctive mark. His ultimate goal is to let his talent speak for itself. He wants to be a staple to the culture and a positive influence. 
 Heavily influenced by artists like Lil Wayne, Jay Z , Big, Tupac, Drake, Ross, Jezzy, and more Kiah was inspired by some of the greats. He began to gain momentum after a collab with Hocus 45th titled, “My Hood Poppin” which received radio play from Hot97 and Sirius XM. He has already collaborated with some dope artists such as Hocus 45th, Cory Gunz, and Fred Da God Son.
