At the age of 4 years old, ShortD grabbed the mic and started singing. Both of her parents were musicians an ShortD always joined them when her parents rehearsed. Unfortunately life hasn't been kind to ShortD. She grew up in a very unsafe environment and left home at the age of 17. After that she found herself in relationships with a lot of physical and mental abuse. Music and her children kept her going. ShortD started writing lyrics at the age of 21. Although life was rough on her, she always stayed positive and kept the faith. She became a very strong and independent woman who now found her way in the music industry. ShortD has a clear vision of the future. She wants to inspire other upcoming artists with her music and motivate them to pursue their dreams. She believes that no matter what happens in life, there's always light at the end of the tunnel. ShortD is the founder of Dynamique Talent Squad. A label team with members all across the globe. From Europe to the UK, to the States, to Africa to Australia to Jamaica. As a crew they create hip hop music that is far from mainstream. They use different kind of styles in their music, which makes them very dynamic. This is how Dynamique Talent Squad was born.
