Riff Rabbit, is a mexican DJ, producer and rapper from Monterrey, NL. that has made a name for himself and his ability to blend Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Nu Metal and Bass music into a style all of his own. He named this style as Dark Urbano for it combines multiple elements from each genre (the raspy voice and the guitars with distortion from Nu Metal, the drum pattern from Hip Hop and Reggaeton and the rhythms, bass and dark sound from Bass music, adding his rap skills which are influenced by the american and chicano rap scene from the 2000s with whom he was in contact as a child when he moved to the USA. The project was born in 2018 when he got tired of being a ghost writer and started performing his own lyrics with a raspy voice, recording guitar riffs and writing bass drops which ultimately resulted in his first single ‘Loco’ which got the attention of people like Wuki, Junkie Kid, Noizekid, Billion Dollars and many more even though the song was just a demo.
