Pharaoh 47 is a Nigeria-based Artist (Rapper/Singer/Songwriter), Producer and Sound Engineer. In 2018, he debuted and made a mark in Northern Nigerian cities of Jos, Abuja, Bauchi and Gombe with his unique blend of Rap (Drill, Trap, Fusion), Afrobeats and Afroswing. His breakthrough came with his release of the mixtape, 'Top Boy,' which was named as a top 10 Nigerian album by Pulse Nigeria. Born Timothy Barka Yila Lass in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, on June 6, 2000, he is now based in Lagos. But he retains his northern collective, which includes artists; Pablo The Wave, VI, Timyswead, Jibiril; producer, JayCee; and cinematographer, Legendary Filmboy. Together, they are known as 'Of The North' (OTN). A section of his fanbase also lies in the United Kingdom, where he attended university student for three years, after his dream of becoming a professional footballer hit a snag, during a trial at Blackpool FC.
