Growing up in Sousse, Tunisia, CheLab was immersed in a musical environment, thanks to his father's talent as a violinist. At the age of 18, he embarked on a journey into music production, blending traditional and modern elements. In 2018, at the age of 20, CheLab's career took off as he gained recognition for his remixes of tracks by Hedi Jouini and Klay BBJ, as well as his edit of "Bella Ciao." He also showcased his versatility by composing a classical orchestral piece titled "Dead Piece of Distance." In 2019, he released his "Imagine" album, a testament to his unique style, which also included collaborations with @Menay to recreate ''El hob eli kweni''. His edit of "Harramtou Bik Nouaasi," in collaboration with Ghada Andlosi released on PalmTherapySounds in early 2021, has garnered over 400,000 streams, solidifying his place in the music scene. Despite facing academic challenges and personal losses, including the passing of his father and grandmother in 2021, CheLab found solace in music, resulting in the emotionally charged "Soul" album. In 2022, he continued his artistic journey with the release of the "Kayen" album, where he explored a diverse range of genres and sounds. CheLab's music is a vibrant celebration of Tunisian culture and a poignant reflection of his life experiences, making him a prominent figure in the world of music production.
