Felix Räuber is a singer, composer and producer known as the frontman of the electro pop band Polarkreis 18 (Allein, Allein). His musical sound, "Cinematic Pop“ is a unique blend of pop, neoclassic and electronic. Musically he is between artists such as Nils Frahm, Moderat or Radiohead, and has collaborated with a number of artists such as star violinist Daniel Hope and singer-songwriter Scott Matthew on his EPs „WALL“, „ME“, "AUTSIDER", "SYMPHONIC EP", "CHANGE" & "THE OTHER SIDE OF SEA". Räuber´s song "Après Minuit (feat. Schlindwein)“ can be heard in the series finale of US TV series "How To Get Away with Murder“ & the 18th season of "Grey´s Anatomy". „Woodlands“ is the first single by neoclassical star-pianist Martin Herzberg and Felix Räuber and is kicking off their musical collaboration which is going to result in an EP in September 2022 and an album in April 2023. „Woodlands“ is telling the tale of „Maria“, a girl who Felix met on his travels in Kiev in 2015. After the Russian attacks on Ukraine in February 2022, Maria and her mother lived in Felix´s studio in Berlin for 2 months which has inspired the lyrics for the song. Lines such as „All the voices inside of her, the blasts, the noises - just moving air, she dances with the shadows as they dance with her - out of the ruins“ are symbolizing her personal story. Martin Herzberg´s dreamy piano chords are meeting Felix Räuber´s epic sound design and cristal clear voice.
