YANG is a South Asian (India) multidimensional singer-songwriter and producer from Atlanta. She mixes the worlds between soul and funk music with an alternative twist using live instrumentation and raw sounds to bring her genre bending creations to life. Growing up in a musical household in India, both her parents listened to music from the likes of Ravi Shankar, Lara Magneshkar, The Eagles, to The Beatles, Sade, Norah Jones. Her influences include N.E.R.D, Frank Ocean, SZA, James Flaunteroy, and more.
