JaySteel is a first generation US born Puerto Rican hip hop artist out of the Tri-State city of Bridgeport, CT. He is a unique and diverse artist who can at times serenade in melodic rhythm or spit gritty bars enveloped in intensity and emotion. His style is anything but casual as flow meets substance with ferocity that grabs, if not demands the listeners attention. A seasoned songwriter, he’d finally begin recording music in 2011 with fellow hometown native artist daFinchi. Collaborating with daFinchi who had spent time in NYC studio labs with Bad Boy Entertainment, JaySteel learned about music recording and sound engineering. The duo released and performed their mixtape later that year gaining the attention of their local fan base and peers. Afterwards, The Wolfpack rap supergroup with JaySteel and 10 other rap artists and friends emerged and released various singles between 2011-2014. Riding the wave, JaySteel dropped a solo album in 2015 titled “The Factory” and another in 2018 titled “In a Cloud of Ashes.” Then in 2023 he released his 3rd solo project, “The Burning Pages.” He plans to release his 4th and final solo album ever in Spring of 2024. JaySteel is a self proclaimed reality rapper and storyteller who has worked with artists from the US, Finland, UK, Puerto Rico, and Nigeria.
