Kera Rhion better known by stage name " JustLoveKera", was born and raised predominantly in Detroit, MI. Growing up in the city for Kera was life changing.She reflects on her upbringing and experiences throughout some of her music... the good, the bad and even the ugly. Kera also credits the Carolinas as a major influence outside of her hometown, Detroit. She often refers to "MichiganCarolina" when speaking of two. Her family relocated to South Carolina when she was a teen, leaving behind family and friends. While having a hard time adjusting to a new environment, she often stayed to herself. During that time, she listened to music a lot as a means of comfort. She found a new appreciation for music and the lyricism; seeing how a song could be so relatable and so comforting. Kera states her goal with music is to provide her audience with the 'same feeling she felt when she felt she had no one in her corner', but to also 'inspire people and use her platform to make changes outside of music'.
