Boston-born "sloth.toes" discovered a love for music somewhere between the trunk-rattling subwoofers in a late-90's Nissan Maxima and the 4th grade music class where they picked up the saxophone and played through high school while dabbling in other instruments along the way. After taking a couple music technology classes a switch was made from woodwinds and sheet music to DAWs and keyboards where sloth did a deep dive into electronic and sample-based genres. Honing the craft and going from prolific to enigmatic over the years, they've settled into the niche of lofi hip-hop somewhere between the cute study beats and the grittier grimier sounds to evoke a nostalgic melancholia with a bit of variety/personality to keep you on your [sloth]toes.
