José Alberto Pina is a reference in the world of band composition and conducting. He has been nominated for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards for the work The Island of Light. Winner of the Orchestral Conducting Competition "Ciudad de San Vicente del Raspeig" and the First National Wind Band Conducting Contest "Ciudad de Puertollano". He gets the 1st prize in the composition competition for band in La Font de la Figuera and he is awarded at the Second Latin American Band Composition Competition "Vila de Ortigueira" with the work ''The Bermuda Triangle''.
