BC, Canada native Xay Dryz (pronounced “Zay Driz”) is a rising artist with a passion for vibey and great sounding, yet genuine, real, and introspective music . Growing up in a musical household, he learned to play the drums, trumpet, guitar, bass, and basic piano. As a fan of music, Xay Dryz creates a unique hybrid of trap, conscious rap, and orchestral music which he produces, writes, engineers, and masters himself. His early childhood experiences led him to develop skills for introspectivity and communication, and he now uses these skills with his own flair in his hip hop tracks. Inspired by artists like J. Cole , Kendrick Lamar, and Lecrae, Xay Dryz uses music to both therapeutically resolve personal issues, and to help others find their way out of difficult situations. With a background in design as well as music, Xay Dryz produces everything himself including beat production, lyrics, mixing & mastering, and editing his own music videos.
