Hermez is a Nigerian singer/songwriter originally born in Atlanta, Georgia rooted from Nigeria. Hermez’s sound is an eclectic mix of R&B and Afro-fusion that translates into what is now coined as Afro-Soul. His unique melodies and mellow-tone hooks are what feed into his signature process. The latter is what also turned his last projects, Garden Spirts & Phantom Troupe; into cult classics - Garden Spirits gave heartfelt serenades to a loved one on tracks like “Slowly”, “Temporary Luv”, & “Low Low" while Phantom Troupe explored the hedonistic attributes of life on "No Safety" & "Young & Wildin". Hermez’s hypnotizing track “All the Time” as well his infectious record “Waves” has made quite some noise in the Alte community/ Nigerian scene. Looking to take this definite sound globally.
