Pensacola, FL, native Daphne Rose got an early start in show business, dancing with the Kaleidoscope Dance Company in a number of productions, including The Nutcracker. Dancing led to an interest in public speaking, singing, and television production; while attending Gulf Breeze High School, Rose won an oratorical award as well as an award for best television public service announcement made by a student. Early in 2004, Tone 1 Records signed Rose; later that year, she released her debut single, "All I've Ever Wanted," and began work on her first full-length album while developing her live show. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi
