Kawel Joseph Nawej also known as OFG Prodigy is a Congolese Born South African rasied rapper and producer. Born in 2001 November 22nd. Rasied in Edenvale Johannesburg OFG Would grow up listening to a variety of of music from Hip-hop, RnB, Gospel, and Drill music Listening to American Based Artists from the the likes of Drake, lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Young Thug, Tory lanez, Bryson Tiller, Partynextdoor, Future, The Migos, Polo G, DDG, Guna, lil baby and various other artist where as South African Based Artists would be from the likes of Nasty C, A-reece, Shane Egale, AkA, Casper Nyovest, Youngsta cpt, Emtee the hustler, Ricky rick and Various other artist It was towards the end of primary school that OFG Prodigy took rapping into consideration, going on to releasing a few songs in the beginning of high school. It was his second project a song by the title of "shine" which gained him some noterity amongst his peers, with the help of of his close friend playing a hand behind the mixing and mastering of the song. later performing at Talent shows along side his other friends. Later being introduced to drill music from the UK and NYC, Taking interest in this by posting freestyle and remixes of song onto social media platforms . It was in 2023 that OFG Prodigy made the choice of becoming a producer as well, producing his own beats and recording over them we are yet hear about where he currently is right now.
