Born in Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Morgado is originally a guitar player and multi instrumentist, which started studying music at his 11 years old, influenced by genres such as pop, rock, heavy metal and jazz. His passion for eletronic music started when he witnessed the begining of the “French Touch” movement in which he had contact by watching perfomances in his youth by names such as Daft Punk and Bob Sinclair. In 2016 decided to initiate his career as DJ and with this founded the label Underdogs, his first residency was in Hotel Fasano Rio de Janeiro, playing at the first Underdogs parties and lots of other events. Your style is not only influenced by the “French Touch” but also by House, Jazz, Melodic and Afro House, besides Rock and MPB. Started alongside Bernardo Campos his weekly residency at the iconic sunset from “Pato com Laranja” restaurant/lounge playing downtempo beats, which was an acclaimed sucess by public and critic, with a constant big crowd in its Ipanema sidewalk. Conquered another residencies alongside Bernardo Campos such as Camarote N1 (Formely named Brahma) in the traditional carnival samba parade in Rio, and with Alan Fack the residency from the New Years Eve John John Rocks Jeri. In his curriculum has presentations with Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Gerber, Damian Lazarus, &Me, Adam Port, Rebolledo, Blondish, Bedouin, Pablo Fierro, William Djoko, Audiofly, Newman, Gorje Hewek & Izhevsky, Sébastien Léger, Jean Claude Ades, Birds of Mind, among others.
