Zimbabwe born Lamont Chitepo is a last born in a family of 6. 3 boys and 3 girls. Lamont was born through adverse and health concerns. His Eldest brother died when he was 3 years old and his father passed on a year after. He spend his early years in his ancestral home in Sadziwa Village in Nyanga with his mother. 
 Lamont found solace from listening to music and lip singing to his favourite songs . This is when his passion for music was born. However his creativity was evident at an early age through arts and craft. He self produced his breakthrough song titled Maiwe in 2016. Since then he has recording and collaborated with some of the best artist . These includes Killer T , Bazooker , FreemanHKD boss Sulumani Chimbetu and Tytan. Lamont said that one of the most inspiring moments in his life was learning as a child that the late Zimbabwean war hero Herbert Chitepo was his Uncle. He says he continues to be inspired by the fact that someone from his family could have been the president of Zimbabwe. 
 His latest single , Musiye Ayende is now out everywhere. This is followed by the released of a EP titled Mwana WaSuzie coming out on the 30th or June 2023.
