🇧🇪Belgian (West-Flemish) singer-songwriter, with a solid love for storytelling and cinematic influences - mostly influenced by great artist such as Evanescence (Amy Lee) and Within Temptation. 
 Matthew, or the phonetically West-Flemish "Metjoeww" way of writing, puts the emphasis on translating stories into (instrumental) music notes and empowering the message of the lyrics through his recognizable voice. 
 He also has a big passion for intertwining strings into his music, which as an upcoming artist has already led him to doing collaborations with Dave Eggar with whom he recently put out Untold Story and Screams Of Silence. 
 In the spirit of "2020 has taught us big lessons", this 30-something aspiring musician has decided to work intensively on his upcoming EP and will surprise his fans with not only a great mix of influences and subtle winks to the 90s rock sound he grew up with but also with a well-thought-out project of songs of which the lyrics will hit you on more than one level. 
 Raw. Honest. Brutal. Real. To-the-point. 
 ‘Dream big, work hard’ as a life slogan, he hopes to achieve his life goal: getting to work with and/or being a support act of his idols in music.
