Tiandra Tionnie Thompson (born March 29, 2001), known professionally as Tionnie Paige, is a Jamaican-American rapper, and song-writer. Born in Montego Bay, Saint James on the small Island of Jamaica, she moved to Jamaica Queens, NYC at the age of 16. She started rapping at the age of 14. Tionnie Paige chose her stage name by putting her middle name [Tionnie] and her nickname [Paige] together. She did not release her first single, Paper & Pencil (2018) until she was 16 years old. Tionnie Paige's first time performing her single in front of a live crowd would be when she entered the Level Up youth competition (2018) alongside other young artists from NYC. Though she did not win the competition she would later be offered the opportunity by the level Up organization to perform at The Shed in Manhattan (2019). Tionnie has gone on to be a bbleader for the youth organization BuildingBeats networking with other young creatives. Her song Demand produced by BSNYEA and Lady MoSoFou can be heard in season 2 episode 10 of HBO’s South Side series.
