Intergalactic shape-shifting kwaai diva Umlilo is an innovative genre and gender-bending multi-disciplinary artist in music, fashion, 3D animation, VR, visual art and performance. She is a theatre and media studies graduate from Rhodes University (South Africa), the founder of Future Kwaai Records, co-founder of LeGrand Queer Arts Festival in Johannesburg and the fashion label Kwaai Boutique. Her music has garnered over half a million streams online and her work has been shown across the world in different media from fashion, film, art exhibitions and live performances.
