On August 3, 1989 a king was born. Devillez (pronounced deh-vii-iz) Chow also known as ofcl. A young man destined to acquire legendary status. Ofcl. was born, raised and bred in the heart of southern California. It was at the early age of 5 that others recognized his gift. Growing up he was raised in a large family. The eldest of 6 siblings, hip-hop was a constant steady source of influence in his life. While his uncle, Christ Bearer was a member of the early 90’s popular rap group “Wu-Tang Clan”, his father and uncles were also heavy in the West Coast rap game. He recalls his grandmother being a supportive figure in his childhood after quickly recognizing his “inherited genes” to perform she bought him his first musical instrument. The family generation and early exposure to the Hip Hop culture was bred into him as the lifestyle began a deep-rooted appreciation for the art. His intelligence and education is not only evident in his persona but is also apparent in his lyrics. He’s not only a rapper but a visionary, professional author & talented producer who has written and produced numerous hot tracks for other artist such as: Wu-Tang’s Northstar Killa Beez, (Christ Bearer & Meko) Dre Loco, O’so Krispie, Brokin English, & Skip Marley just to name a few. He’s also worked alongside artist & producers such as: Alex Isley, Sel Davis, STONEBEATZ, Blair Perkins, Topic, Redrum781, SqueakRu, Ervin Pope, Dj IllWill, G. Sparkz, Kojack & Kuddie Fresh.
