Gold Coast based singer/songwriter TYLA hails from Townsville, North QLD. Her sound has been sculpted over the years from her beginnings in acoustic folk to her progression towards alternative pop. Her music is dreamy, with gentle vocals, thought provoking lyrics and melodies that will stay in your head all day. At 22 she released her debut single Pages which illustrates the important role of song writing in her life and demonstrates her melodic and lyrical uniqueness. TYLA has recently released her debut EP "Honey Skin" in May 2020 which gives listeners an autobiographical insight into the past and present life of the 23 year old singer/songwriter. The Honey Skin EP exposes the raw emotion and vulnerability of loss and loneliness, while also painting a picture of self-discovery and desire.
