Among many things, Mark is the proud musical director of award-winning ACM Gospel Choir, who were semi-finalists in the BBC’s Last Choir Standing in 2008, and winners of the Urban Music Award for Best Gospel Act in 2013. The choir have since recorded three studio albums, and regularly perform at a range of public, private and corporate events, bringing a fresh slant to gospel and contemporary staples. Mark’s love of teaching has led him to work at an array of institutions internationally, including The BRIT School and the University of Westminster. He has delivered workshops and seminars to a variety of organisations, such as Barclays, Allianz and McLaren, inspiring others with his positive and infectious spirit. Founder of Singology; Mark successfully provides the 200 members of 9 London based community choirs with a creative avenue of expression and belonging, helping to bring local communities together through song. Mark has fulfilled numerous roles such as vocal coach and musical director on a variety of TV programmes including Our Dementia Choir (BBC1), This is My Song (BBC1), Pitch Battle (BBC1), All Together Now (BBC1) and Songs of Praise (BBC1). He is also an established author with a plethora of published books.
