Recognised by critics as one of the most interesting young talents on the international jazz scene, Eleonora Strino performs in major theatres and jazz festivals all over the world. She conducted masterclasses at several prestigious institutions such as the Salvador de Bahia Conservatory in Brazil, the Lousanne Conservatory in Switzerland (HEMU), and the Nice Conservatory in France. She performed in major theatres and jazz festivals. In 2021, the international review Jazz Guitar Today featured her on their cover, an honor previously given to jazz greats such as John Scofield, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Peter Bernstein, Jonathan Kreisberg, and Scott Henderson. Her latest album, which was recorded in Berlin with Joey Baron and Greg Cohen, will be released in May 2023 by Cam Jazz, an important Italian label. I will debut the album at Blue Note in Milan and embark on a European tour in 2023/24. In July 2022 she was invited by internationally renowned guitarist Martin Tayler to play a trio performance, along with world-famous guitarist Ulf Wakenius on The Great Guitars tour. In March 2023, her book Bebop Scales for Jazz Guitar was published by music educator Fundamental Changes, and will be distributed worldwide. Eleanora is pursuing many current solo projects. The future is bright for this multi-talented artist.
