Andrés Villamil is an Colombian classical guitarist, composer and teacher. He began playing the guitar at of the age of nine, graduated from the National University of Colombia and from the Cologne University of Music (Hochschule für Musik Köln) in Germany. He has recorded 8 Cd productions of Classical and Latinamerican music. He wrote and published his first book "Guitarra Colombiana" a compilation of colombian rhythms for guitar. Since 1996 he performs as concert guitarist in many countries around the world.
