Based in Brisbane, Australia, Matthew Parker aka. Skitzoid has been making a name for himself as a multifaceted drum & bass producer & mixer. After spending 5 years in the dubstep scene with a focus on heavy tearout & deathstep, Skitzoid secured several label releases with predominant heavyweights such as Prime Audio (UK), Brainsick Records (US), Interval Audio (POL) & Wicked Records (US). After a steady run of releases Skitzoid participated in multiple interviews & guest mix sessions with bass music curators Monsoon Season, The Wavetable Podcast & Epic Circus. In January 2020, Skitzoid became the Vice President of the Dubstep publication platform Dub Wubz Promotions, working with artists from around the globe, and curating some the best underground bass music available in the scene. After some consideration, Skitzoid has now moved into his next phase of music, securing & demonstrating a deep understanding of drum & bass music, bringing an arsenal of all original productions exploring all manner of subgenres & styles. Throughout 2021, Skitzoid has secured several bookings in the Brisbane & SEQ area ranging from 8am festival wake up sessions to 2am closing sets in the heart of Brisbane CBD, all incorporating original productions.
