Ashik Sarkar (Born April 4,1998) is an Indian electronic dance music producer who is known by his stage name HIGHLNDR. Born in a non musical family, Ashik always wanted to be a musician and do something different since he was a kid. After finishing his senior secondary education in Assam, He went to Hyderabad to pursue bachelor degree in Business Management. At where he started adoring his childhood passion and decided to give it a try. He bought a low budget laptop with his savings and started making music on it. Since then he never looked back and never stopped. Ashik produced and released various remixes and hip hop beats under the alias 'Rigisk'.In 2021,He decided to put his hands on the current Assamese electronic music wave. He collaborated with his producer friend NYRRON and singers Kasturi Borgohain, Zaantu Bora to release his debut Assamese track 'Adhoura' on 12 June, 2021. 'Adhorua' is currently available on YouTube and all streaming platforms online.
