Songs For Children (SFC), a company founded by Brenda and Robin Markwell back in 1978, has been bringing British-made children’s content to young ears for over 40 years. The SFC ethos was always clear – to produce and create, in the form of songs and stories, exclusive, original and educational but most importantly enjoyable children’s content – in which they succeeded. SFC’s collection includes classic nursery rhymes and stories, as well as original songs and stories, performed by artists under the collective ‘Songs For Children’. The content has helped young audiences around the globe with fundamental skills such as counting, the alphabet and spelling. SFC has had multiple collaborations throughout the years, with big brands such as Cadbury, Pampers and Heinz, producing collectable physical products such as cassettes and CDs, often in box-set format. SFC became well-known for its audio product quality and as a result established itself as a trusted educational resource, receiving the Gold Award for ‘Best Educational Toy’ by The Good Toy Guide.
