Henry Crompton-Smith, professionally known as Charlie Oak is a Techno/Tech-House DJ and Producer, currently residing in Henley-on-Thames. Born in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire, Charlie moved to Southampton to peruse a course in IT at Solent university. Following a Passion for music he changed his course 6 months in, to study Digital Music. Purely through his passion and talent was he allowed onto the course as Charlie had no previous musical qualification. Before his studies Charlie played sets for various DJs in the areas of Greater London, Oxfordshire and Southampton to showcase his productions and to amplify him into the Tech-House and Deep-House scene. 2018 led to some great contacts. Having music signed by renowned record label High Tide Recordings, based in Southampton. Charlies Debut release 'Clanga' was released in November, and has more to come in 2019.
