Coming onto the scene in 2021, Casey slowly gained a following in Cape Breton where he was born and raised by releasing music on SoundCloud. He would keep grinding for some years, but would slow down in 2022-2023 due to legal and personal troubles, and also due to Casey wanting to perfect his sound. Casey would make his comeback with the song “Not Enough” which would blow up beyond anything he had released before. Casey quickly capitalized on the success of this song with his debut mixtape “Lone Star” which would hint at the sound that he had been working on. Casey’s most recent album “Thanks For Nothing” has proven him even further to be an extremely versatile and unique artist, featuring songs like “Rain Falls, Something to Prove. Swerving, and Seven Months” he has shown himself to be an extremely clever lyricist along with a talented musician, and clearly has no problem setting himself apart from the crowd. Casey would also go on to create his own independent label ‘Everlone Records’ to release his music through after signing with Sugo Music Group in early 2024, where he has helped boost the other artists and producers in his circle. However, issues would arise after a series of disagreements and false promises from SMG, which lead to Everlone Records shutting down a year later. Despite this, Casey is determined to make a comeback in 2025. Although it’s still early in his career it is not hard to tell that this young artist has a bright future ahead of him.
