Justin “Yaddiya” Johnson is an artist and activist whose music and protests have helped invigorate the nation’s capital time and time again. He’s been featured on MTV, in Rolling Stone, The Washington Post and Billboard Magazine, among other publications that have highlighted his talents. Yaddiya blends the percussion-heavy go-go music from his hometown of Washington D.C. with hip-hop — creating a unique sound he’s ready to take global. The versatile visionary has also started his own company, to amplify Black voices in the Nation's Capital, called Long Live GoGo. Most recently, Yaddiya dropped a single dubbed “Bounce Beat Baby.” In it, he lists the qualities that make him the ultimate Bounce Beat offspring. Now, as he preps his next EP for release in 2023, Late 2 Da Party, the multi-talented artist with the city behind him is ready to stamp his place in hip-hop lore.
