Ajaunie Joseph Hibbert (born June 21 2001), better known by his stage name Ajauni, is a Jamaican artist/singer and songwriter. Ajaunie was born at Victoria Jubilee hospital in Kingston, Jamaica but raised in the St Thomas area. His love for music began at an early age, being around his parents and uncle who are famous musicians. Hibbert wrote his first song at the age of 9, and was given the opportunity to perform it at a well known event in Jamaica called Ghetto Splash. His music is inspired by his day to day experiences in life and also the people around him which includes his friends and family. Ajaunie is an exceedingly talented artiste that dedicate his free time to writing music and building his music career. Some of his musical goals is to submerge into other music genres, to write award winning songs, and to be able to tour the world so that his music can be heard around the globe. His biggest goal is to win a Grammy and to perform in the Grammy award show. Within his music career he has worked with established dancehall/reggae artiste such as Beenie Man, Jahmiel and Popcaan. Ajaunie was sign to (Adaba Entertainment & We Endure Music) in October 2020, shortly after they released one of his biggest song titled “Liu Kang”. In February 2021 another single was released titled “Weh Mi Name”. The artist kept busy throughout 2021 releasing songs after songs titled “Mother Love”, “Never Give In” feat. international superstars Jahmiel, “Heights of Evil”, “Shake Dat” & Boast.
