Kim Beyer is an American pop artist and accidental TikTok sensation known for resilience and joy in the midst of grief, a theme that marks most of her online content and musical endeavors. Born into Memphis blues and raised in a Cincinnati pop trio, Kim eventually landed overseas and enjoyed a successful run as a singer/songwriter in Germany before returning to Ohio to settle down and start a family. After a decade of happy home life, her husband suffered a massive brain aneurysm that left him severely disabled. As her world turned to chaos, Kim began making music again to process it all. Underneath her infectious bubbly personality and catchy hooks runs a brutal honesty about the harsh realities of life, love, and loss. Her debut electronic pop album STAGES pairs bright arrangements with heartbreaking lyrical content, a juxtaposition that reflects a human truth - Hurting people often look fine on the outside. STAGES was produced by Matt Langston (eleventyseven, The Jellyrox, The Fast Feeling) at Rock Candy Recordings. The album features Columbus nerdcore rapper AJB, Christian rap veteran John Reuben, and gospel R&B crooner Nicholas Sherrod.
