A regular performer at Eastside Jazz Club Birmingham, The Trumpet Bilston, and now host of Jazz at the Ruin in Digbeth, Reece Downton is a reliable musician with a great reputation. Former Sugarthief drummer entered the world of jazz through his post graduate studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire beginning in 2021. With original ensembles and original music on the horizon in 2022, Reece is hoping to become a major part of not only the Birmingham jazz scene, but the UK's Jazz scene.
