PASAR DE LA ESFERA AL PLANO DE LO ETÉREO A LO MUNDANO. PARAÍSO, ALMAS, MAPA IMAGINARIO. MOLECULAR is a journey between dance, rhythm and words. Pi McCarthy has worked on musical collaboration with the producers Chalart58 and Màrius Alfambra, with whom she has been able to explore more closely the language of electronic music, the protagonist and key in the composition of this second album. The influences and musical genres in MOLECULAR are those from which the artist has been nourished until now: Jazz, Pop, Dub, World Music, Folklore... always in direct contact with the voice world – a fundamental axis of her career. MOLECULAR was conceived in Menorca Island, inspiration center for the singer during last year. The work vindicates dance as an organic drive after a lockdown period. “When we move away from the noise, the most primitive connection returns, movement is something that is in our nature”, she says. In addition, the album includes her two mother tongues, English and Spanish, a fusion that McCarthy also experiences as a spontaneous act. M O L E C U L A R Out in Autum 2023 !!!
