Erizonte is an experimental rock band founded in 2002 by composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Julian Sanz Escalona linked to the rock and the scene of experimental music in Spain since 1982 as part of La Fundación, 429 Engaños, Mar Otra Vez and La Gran Curva. In 2003 he published his first album under the name Erizonte entitled "I heard rain ... and I ignored" with collaborations with musicians like guitarist Sean Eden. In 2010 his second album "Work in Progress" is nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards. In 2012 a compilation titled "Tension - Spanish Experimental Underground 1980-1985" is published and distributed worldwide with works of all the bands of his first era. In 2014 forms the Compañía Erizonte to present live electro acoustic work style Los Caprichos de Goya Suite, which opens in Berlin in June 2014 made with Scud Hero. It is a contemporary work as a suite, electro acoustic, divided into eight movements and an overture to accompany the exhibition of 80 prints that make up the series "Los Caprichos" by Francisco de Goya, In 2015 is published in album format and presented in the auditorium of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, considered the spiritual home of Francisco de Goya. The play opens in America at the Cultural Center of Spain in Miami. In 2016 it opens in Iztacalco Auditorium in Mexico City and tours Spain with the Erizonte Company until now.
