Jermaine  (Black Rain) Wallace is a product of Greensboro N.C. Being raised in a Musical family I've always been pursuing artistry. Playing instruments came naturally being that my brother Mo Pockit  (James Wallace 3) taught me how to play drums and my father (James Wallace Jr.) played the guitar. Everything changed thru circumstance, environment, and the culture of Hip Hop leading me to become a story teller of things I see everyday. At 11 years old I was asked to come to a studio session and it changed my my life. A short 4 years later I had stopped playing instruments and was fascinated by the streets and started rapping exclusively. I Joined a group called the War Bangers consisting of 9 members until it slimmed down to 3 after a couple years, And after losing friends to prison and violence I started taking things seriously. While doing music solo for a while I met Anthony  (Jo Kane) Smith who as a young producer got me inspired to continue and I have been growing since. Now thru everything I've been through I feel I'm equipped with skill, knowledge, and experience that can used as a voice for the culture of Hip Hop in Its rarest form. Through doing music and knowing the right people I have had a chance to meet artist and producers that I hold in high regard. I've had the chance to converse and have the legendary Doug E Fresh and DJ ill Will listen to some of my music and give advice.
