Born Nkosi Mmembe, Venom is a Pretoria based Hip Hop DJ. It all started at a club called Zanzu where his cousin worked as a Resident DJ. Venom’s influences are DJ Poizon, Hardwell, Tietso, the late Avicii, David Guetta, Steve Aoki and locally DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Black Coffee, DJ Voodoo, DJ Dimplez, DJ Zan D just to mention a few. Venom has played at some of the country’s biggest festivals and events such as Ultra SA, Oppi Koppi, Durban July, Pop Bottles, Homecoming Events, Major League Gardens, Cassper Nyovest Tsholofelo Tour and Riky Ricky’s Family Value Tours. He has became a favourite in the Night Club Industry in South Africa gaining him a Summer Time Residency in Cape Town every December to mid January which started in 2017.
