Drewskii was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. His musical roots run deep as his father, Poppa Pat, is a singer himself, with a powerful, epic voice. The impact he had on his son’s sound is extremely evident, showing him the likes of Earth, Wind and Fire, Gap Band and the Isley Brothers at an early age. The transition to hip hop was a natural one, as Drewskii is also a high level athlete. His love for music and basketball were enormous parts of his development as he matured. It was evident early on that he was a dual threat. Once he graduated and his collegiate basketball career ended, he was able to start working on music full time. His sound materialized quickly and his peers began to really take notice. Combining his gifts with his work ethic, Drewskii makes creating hits seem so effortless.
