Jada Adams, best known by her stage name Jada Beatz, was born in New Jersey in 2003. She began rapping at six years old and continued to write songs and poems. Her musical inspirations span in a variety of genres: R&B, Pop, Jazz, Oldies, and Hip Hop/Rap. Jada and D2Jay, her big brother/producer, make music in the garage of their home in Columbia, South Carolina. Jada’s first songs ever released were on a joint EP for the Every Black Girl Organization in 2017. After performing around SC for almost 3 years, Jada focused on creating her personal catalog and debut album, “Whatever.” This eight-song collection is a short glimpse into the art and mind of Jada Beatz. Following the album, Jada used her arranging, producing, and leadership skills to the test. The then 17-year-old brought together her high school friends and they created a collaborative album together. This project was produced by her older brother, D2Jay, and 100% written and recorded by young black women. The collab album “Girls Day Out” is also available on all streaming platforms. During the filmed creation process, titled “The Lock-In Sessions” (found on YouTube), Jada realized her love for songwriting. One of her aspirations in life is to write music for famous artists and record music in the studio.
