Julie Campiche is a harp jazz pioneer. Just as Vincent Peirani innovates with his accordion, Julie is one of those harpists around the world, such as Brandee Younger, who have taken over from Alice Coltrane and Dorothy Ashby and put the instrument firmly on the modern map. Her quartet has put Swiss avant-garde jazz on the international map. Julie, Leo Fumagalli (Bada-Bada), Manu Hagmann and Clemens Kuratle have been on the road throughout Europe for five years and have shared the stage with artists such as Erik Truffaz and Mammal Hands.
