Brandi Renee formerly known as "B", "SB" and now goes by"Moon Yecca" grew up in the small town of San Pedro, California. Born on August 31, 1989, she has been destined and determined for greatness. Always saying that she's a small town girl in Big City world, she is most adament on reaching her dreams to be recognized for her unique style in fashion, voice, poetry, and dance. She started out performing in her local Boys and Girls Club of LA Harbor in the city of San Pedro at monthly Art Galleries for the youth of the town to show-off their talents. Producer/Emcee, Rob Lacey, better known as "Definite" of Manifest Recordings discovered and nurtured her vocal and writing talents. At the age of 12, she began to develop into the all-around artist she is known as today. She developed a sort of poetic style of writing and ventured into a more unique style of music, her own. Moon Yecca finally found a blend of sound with her love for old school R&B, Neo-Soul, and Hip Hop. Her newest music is a direct reflection of her cultural background and experience creating music for 2 decades. She considers herself part of the Latinx movement, and firmly embraces her chicano culture and tries to incorporate that with her music. Beginning a more aggressive approach to releasing music when she started with HRDRV online label, the opportunities have become endless, and there is no door she can't unlock; she has all the keys!
