James Day composes and produces electronic music as Somaphore. His recent electronica output uses a mix of software synthesisers and bespoke field recordings. His tracks combine the sophistication of artificially synthesised sounds with the organic feel of recorded material. He has collaborated with many artists, including vocalists and fellow producers such as s. lyre and Will Sid Smith, during his time at Falmouth University.
